1In short
We use only what the site needs to work: a sign-in session, a few preferences, and the storage two third-party components need while they are on screen. None of it tracks you across other sites, none of it is used for advertising, and none of it needs a consent banner. If that ever changes, we will ask first.
2What Saneo itself stores
- Your sign-in session, kept by Firebase Authentication in your browser's storage so you stay logged in between visits. Deleted when you sign out.
- Your language choice (English or Albanian) and, on the international pages, the page language.
- Interface preferences in the practice workspace: whether the sidebar is collapsed, whether cancelled appointments are hidden, and which set-up checklist you dismissed.
- A note that you skipped the optional phone step after registering, so we do not ask again on every page.
These are stored with localStorage and IndexedDB rather than cookies. They never leave your browser, and we cannot read them from our servers.
3Third-party components
- Google reCAPTCHA, loaded only on the sign-in page when you sign in with a phone number, to stop automated abuse of SMS codes. Google sets its own cookies for this; see Google's privacy policy.
- Mapbox: the map on the search page and on doctor profiles loads tiles from Mapbox, which sees your IP address and may collect anonymised usage statistics about the map.
- Daily: during a video visit the call runs in a Daily room, which uses browser storage for the duration of the call.
- Google Fonts: the typefaces are loaded from Google's servers, which see your IP address when a page loads.
4Your choices
You can clear everything Saneo stores by signing out and clearing site data for saneo.al in your browser settings. Blocking storage entirely will stop you from staying signed in. Your browser's Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal changes nothing here, because there is no tracking to switch off.
5Changes
If we add a component that stores data for other purposes, analytics for example, we will update this page and ask for your consent before it runs.
